Two months has passed quickly. Our little girl continues to grow. Regan is (according to my scale) about 11- 12 pounds. She is staying awake longer each day and while awake she smiles quite a bit and likes to kick her legs and move her arms. Pretty normal activity for a two month old.
I am happy to report that we are getting pretty good sleep each night. Regan will wake up once, maybe twice at night, but I find myself wondering each morning, did we wake up last night? I can't remember often times. However, we do go to bed at 11, and I wake up at 6:30. Regan usually wakes up closer to 8. She is sleeping in our bed still which I know makes some people gasp, but Sanjay and I and Regan, for that matter, are getting really good sleep so she will stay for now. Usually when we go to sleep for the night I put her in between Sanjay and me. In no time, she ends up sleeping right up against me. I'm not sure how she makes her way over to me since she is not rolling yet.
Another little tidbit about our girl is she has the most beautiful blue/gray eyes. Ryan, at this age, had brown eyes, but this little one has light eyes, for now at least. We'll see what happens within the year. They may end up brown after all.
