We are finally settling into our new place. I think there are two boxes left to unpack. The transition has gone smoothly for Ryan, although he has been through a lot in the past week. We moved and he has been weaned from breastfeeding. That is a lot for a one year old. One of the best things about our new place is Ryan's bedroom. First, it was already painted little boy blue (YEAH!), second, it is completely childproofed so he can play in there by himself (which never really happens) without me having to redirect his attention from an outlet or lamp or tv, etc., third, in his room, he has his own bathroom complete with a child sized tub. In our old place we had a spa tub, nice for me, not so fun for the little guy. For the record, in the 16 months we were in our last home, I did not take one bath. :( We are all happy in this new home, even Lucy doesn't seem to mind not having a yard. She has found lots of sunshine in our bedroom and sleeps in the sun for many hours during the day. She has the best life! So here we will stay for hopefully the next year and see where life takes us after that!
